Shop drawing-Turbo plus AI: The next level of automated finished part planning

What if STRAKON not only creates shop drawings faster, but also finds the right templates from your past projects? This is exactly what the new AI makes possible. In conjunction with the shop drawing-Turbo, the design of structural precast concrete elements becomes even faster, smarter and more efficient.

Many companies have a valuable wealth of data: the planning documents from hundreds or thousands of projects that have already been processed. It contains reinforcement solutions, embedded parts and finished shop drawings that can be reused for new, similar components. But to lift this treasure has so far taken time – because the designer needs to know where to look.

With STRAKON 2027, the AI takes over

It searches existing STRAKON projects for identical or similar components and suggests suitable results to the designer. This allows proven solutions from past projects to be used again without the user having to know the appropriate project from the past. The designer selects the appropriate match and STRAKON takes over the reinforcement and embedded parts relevant to the work plan for the new component. In addition, the similar or identical component found in the shop drawing uses an individual work plan template for the new component.

From the right match to the finished shop drawing – in a continuous process

This is where the shop drawing-Turbo, which has already been introduced with STRAKON 2026+, comes into play. Structural precast parts design often starts with an outline model that initially contains the geometry and basic part information. Reinforcement, plant plan-relevant embedded parts and more complex shop drawings will only be added in the further planning process.

Until now, these steps had to be performed individually for many similar but not identical components. With the shop drawing-Turbo, individually designed shop drawings including reinforcement and embedded parts can be transfer to several similar finished part positions.

The new AI complements this process with the decisive step: it finds the suitable starting components from the "drawer" that the designer needs for this automation. AI finds the right solution. The shop drawing-Turbo moves them efficiently to the next finished part position. This reduces search effort, reuses existing know-how, and details numerous components with significantly less manual effort.
